Stories – One Giant Step for Mankind

Stories – One Giant Step for Mankind

Led by Millenials, an estimated 5% of Americans don’t believe we landed on the moon. That’s almost seventeen million Americans. Until last year, I would have laughed at the ridiculousness of such a conspiracy. How could our government possibly fake such an...

The Bastion Spider

An Open Letter to Bastion Agents: Dear Bastion Agents : Last week I tried to get into the Bastion World Headquarters garage. As I stretched my hand toward the keypad and tried to type in the code, I realized there was a spider’s web in the way. Normally, I don’t like...

Those Were the Days

Those Were the Days

Sometimes I feel sorry for kids growing up today. Not that life is more difficult now, but that life is probably too complicated. At least it's not as simple as when I was a kid. Growing up in the 1970's was special. We spent a lot of time outdoors. In fact, in the...

Put Yourself Out of Business

Put Yourself Out of Business

Now that our kids are raised, my wife are looking towards the future. As much as I hate to admit it, I'm getting older and probably need to get prepared for the Golden Years. What's next and how do I prepare? Especially financially. How do I build wealth? Plenty of my...

Energy, The Only Metric

Energy, The Only Metric

My entire life has been an active one. Starting in middle school and all through high school I had long days. Early mornings to school followed by basketball , football, or baseball practice. Once married, my long days continued. For long periods of time I'd work two...

The Case for Socialism

The Case for Socialism

My dad thinks I'm a socialist because I don't think utility companies represent capitalism. "Nobody can compete with Duke Energy." - I said. "That's not a free market." If someone wanted to start a competitive energy business, the costs and regulations would be...

Who’s right? Is it Grind or is it Flow?

Recently, Tiger Woods explained his primary regret looking back on his golf career. "“Not to run so much,” Woods said. “Running over 30 miles a week for probably my first five or six years on Tour pretty much destroyed my body and my knees.” His motivation, at the...

Investing in The Process

Investing in The Process

For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to own property. Ambitious since the age of eight, I used to dream each night about how big my empire would be. In the dreams I would drive around in a big white cadillac in my three piece suit and check in on my...

The Great Reset of 2020

The Great Reset of 2020

Our economy is in a death spiral. A crash is coming and it's unavoidable. Almost 30 million folks lost their jobs in a 5 week span. After living through the 2008 crash, I, like many business owners at the time, suffered greatly. Builders, real estate, and mortgage...

Ron Adams is Superman… Wait, let’s try that again. Ron Adams is the Founder of Bastion REALTORS® located in Loveland, Ohio. He and his wife, Theresa, live in Loveland with their two dogs, Austin and Dez. Ron is the host of The Ron Adams Podcast, the editor in chief of Advisor Monthly Newsletter, and host of the Ron Adams YouTube Channel.

Reading comic books at the age of 8 he decided he wanted to grow up to be Superman. He also came across an advertisement that encouraged him to start a business selling seeds door to door. He’s been an entrepreneur ever since–which is good, because the Superman thing did not work out.

Most of his career was in sales and sales management for building materials, while simultaneously coaching and following his two children, Scott and Krista, all over the country on soccer fields, basketball courts, and music venues. After the graduation of his daughter from college and with both kids out of the house, he wondered what every comic book fan has asked: “What happens next?” This question led him down a winding road of self-discovery.

The culmination of that journey is in his book. Geared for business professionals, “Salesperson to Superhero” explores how to live a life of significance by seeking meaning in work.

If you want to find your purpose, tell your story, and execute your mission, this book is your roadmap to professional and personal success. It shows the way to develop relationships through storytelling. “I want everyone to be successful by find their talents and passion,” Adams says. “There’s a Superman or Wonder Woman in each of us. Everyone has a story to tell. Yours could change your world.”
